Dykstra, 46, has no more than $50,000 in assets and between $10 million and $50 million in liabilities, according to a petition filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California.

Jonathan Hayes, one of Dykstra's lawyers, had no immediate comment.

Dykstra's filing comes in the wake of some 20 lawsuits he faces tied to his activities as a financial entrepreneur, including The Players Club, a glossy magazine he had helped launch, according to published reports.

The bankruptcy petition shows several banks among Dykstra's largest unsecured creditors, including units of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America Corp.

Dykstra, whose lifestyle included a lavish house, a jet and a Rolls-Royce, says he owes millions of dollars to his 20 largest creditors, many of them banks. His filing follows at least two dozen lawsuits over his business and financial dealings.

As I mentioned on last post, DDSS break out again today, in @ 2.49 and out @ 2.65. NICE quick 6%+ profit.
hit 2.95 after I sold it. FDA decision on next week, will go much higher from here..good luck!

Stocks ended mostly lower Monday as drops in prices for oil and other commodities had investors worrying again that demand for basic materials may remain slack. The major market indexes closed mixed but off of their lows for the day.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 44.13, or 0.5 percent, to 8,324.87, and the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 2.30, or 0.3 percent, to 898.72. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index fell 9.12, or 0.5 percent, to 1,787.40.

Oil fell $2.68 to settle at $64.05 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Last week, oil hit an eight-month high above $73.

Stocks rallied Monday as convicted Ponzi swindler Bernie Madoff received the maximum sentence and oil topped $71 a barrel.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 90.99, or 1.1 percent, to close at 8,529.38, while the S&P 500 gained 0.9 percent and the Nasdaq added 0.3 percent.

Market rallied because of Madoff case? I don't think so, the market is just trying to make money anyway possible. As I mentioned before, market is uptrend till August.

We will have to see what happens tomorrow to find out real move.

Added VG at .39 and going to sell high .40s hopefully.

The Dow capped another down week with a loss Friday as investors shrugged off a surge in consumer sentiment and instead focused on the fact that consumers are squirreling away their money at a feverish pace. But techs gained after encouraging earnings from Palm.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 34.01, or 0.4 percent, to close at 8,438.39. The S&P 500 fell 0.2 percent, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 0.5 percent.

Before the reports, Dow Jones Industrial futures fell 18, or 0.2%, to 8,396. Standard & Poor’s 500 index futures fell 2.70, or 0.3%, to 913.90, and Nasdaq 100 index futures fell 4.25, or 0.3%, to 1,468.75.

Economic Calendar

Personal Income: the dollar value of income received from all sources by individuals. Consumer spending: Includes consumer purchases of durable and nondurable goods, and services.
The consensus decrease in personal income for the month of May is 0.4%. April saw an increase of 50 basis points. Consumer spending is expected to have risen 0.3% in the month, above the 0.1% decrease in April.

Consumer Sentiment: Consumer sentiment is directly related to the strength of consumer spending, by questioning 500 households each month on their financial conditions and attitudes about the economy. The consensus reading for the end of June is 69.7, up from the mid month reading of 69. The big driver in the measurements sharp move upward since early in the year stems from consumers future expectations rather then their current situation; which is reflected by dampened spending patterns.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 172.54, or 2.1%, to 8,472.40, after falling 40 points in the early going as 29 of the 30 blue chips rose. The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 19.32, or 2.1%, to 920.26; its highest gain since the first day of the month, and the Nasdaq composite index rose 37.20, or 2.1%, to 1,829.54. The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies rose 14.23, or 2.9%, to 509.18.

The energy sector saw impressive gains as the rally in equities sent oil up $1.56 to settle at $70.23

I think market is still in uptrend, don't fight the market. NEVER! We gonna see 8800 points before we see 8000-8200 points, market will go higher next few days in my opinion. I hope we see more greens tomorrow.

Futures down on Fed comments

Futures indicated a slightly negative open for Wall Street Thursday after the Federal Reserve cautioned that the U.S. economy would remain weak for a time, adding concerns about the sustainability of a recent recovery.

The Fed also said it would maintain its government and mortgage debt purchasing program and kept its interest rates near zero.

The Federal Reserve's decision Wednesday to keep interest rates low because of the weak economy took the air out of a stock market rally and heightened concerns that some of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke's "green shoots" were turning brown.

Stocks started the day sharply higher after the Commerce Department reported that Durable Good Orders rose 1.8%, compared to expectations of a 0.9% decline. It was the 3rd gain in 4 months for the report. However, new home sales fell 0.6% in the month of May, disappointing the market like the existing home report the day before.

By the closing bell, the major indices finished mixed on the day. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 23.05, or 0.3%, to 8,299.86. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 5.84, or 0.7 percent, to 900.94, and the Nasdaq composite index advanced 27.42, or 1.6%, to 1,792.34. The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies gained 5.18, or 1.1%, to 494.95.

Stock Futures Rise on Fed Anticipation

Futures indicated a higher open for Wall Street Wednesday ahead of the Federal Reserve's announcement on interest rates and monetary policy.

The Federal Open Market Committee releases its statement at 2:15 pm New York time, at the end of two days of meetings. Economists expect the Fed to give a nod to stabilization of the economy. It may also add some weight to its comments about holding rates down, and it may tweak its quantitative easing program.

The dollar hit its lowest level in nearly two weeks against a basket of currencies ahead of the Fed meeting.

A lower dollar boosted mining stocks and in Asia and Europe as metals prices increased. Gold climbed past $930.

Other U.S. economic data due later will shed more light on the health of the U.S. economy. The Commerce Department will release U.S. May durable goods orders at 8:30 am New York time. Economists polled by Reuters expect a fall in orders of 0.6 percent versus a rise of 1.7 percent in April.

U.S. new home sales data for May is out at 10 am New York time and are expected to rise to 360,000 annualized units versus 352,000 in April, a Reuters poll showed. Weekly mortgage applications are expected out at 7 am.

Oil slid below $69 a barrel after data from the American Petroleum Institute's (API) showed a surge in U.S. gasoline stockpiles, signaling weaker-than-expected demand from the world's top energy user.

Investors are holding off making big moves while they wait for the Federal Reserve. Stocks ended little changed Tuesday, a day after the major indexes had their worst day in two months. Traders are looking for the central bank at its two-day meeting ending Wednesday to outline its expectations for the economy and signal when it might raise interest rates. Federal Reserve is the key point for tomorrow but we lost about 600 points last few weeks already and I think it's time for rebounce.
Usually, market go up after Feds, so it will be happen again this time :)

I sold some of my positions today with some slight losses. I still have too many positions to play in this market. I will rearrange more positions coming days. I strongly believe that market will go higher next few days and next weeks but never know the future.

The price of crude oil rose $1.74 to settle at $69.24 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. I think it is time to reconsidered oil stocks. One of my oil play last month DPTR, and my all time favorite oil stock PDO, watch one of them for tomorrow with oil momo. good luck

Morning Outlook

Futures indicated a slightly higher open for Wall Street Tuesday, after the stock market saw its worst one-day loss in two months, as defensive stocks rose.

Automakers were likely to be in focus as two of the industry's leaders were set to take advantage of a $25 billion government loan program aimed at helping the companies retool their factories to make advanced-technology vehicles.

Later in the day, existing home sales data for May will be out at 10 am New York time. Economists expect to see sales at 4.8 million, up 2.6 percent.

The Richmond Federal Reserve will release its monthly survey at 10 am New York time. And Goldman Sachs chain-store sales data will be out at 8:45 am.

The American Petroleum Institute will release its weekly stockpile data at 4:30 pm New York time.

President Obama holds a 12:30 pm New York time news conference at the White House. He also plans to spend part of the day meeting Chile President Michelle Bachelet.

Sirius XM iPhone App gets over 500,000 downloads in four days

SIRI up 2% on ugly bloody market today. Is SIRI worth to buy now?The Sirius XM iPhone App has been downloaded more than a half-million times as of Sunday night, according to an internal company memo obtained by Orbitcast.

"That is one of the fastest download rates by any App," writes Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer of Sirius XM Radio Inc. in the email to employees today.

Four days after initially going live, the App remains as the top free music App as well as the No. 2 most downloaded free App overall. And, according to the company memo, this popularity has resulted in exactly 513,319 downloads as of late Sunday.

Today was nice healthy sell off for the market. I know, Dow down 200 points today.
Last 3 months rally was too much for the market to handle. Market just barely holding above 8300 points, right below 50MA which I think we gonna see pop from this level. All I can do is wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Two new picks today.
ACLS - positive news out this morning and it did hit .61 and sell off like all others, news was positive in my view and .70+ target .

ONSM - same sector as ONT, volume alert this morning, hit .41 with highest volume this year(?). and losing steam like any other stocks. .45+ target for this.

This is hard time to find stocks. I don't have anything to watch for tomorrow. Do you?

Morning outlook

Futures in the U.S. point to the downside over concern about the economy and where the Fed will go later this week as the FOMC meets. In pre market trading, Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 50, or 0.6 %, to 8,426. Standard & Poor’s 500 index futures fell 6.90, or 0.8 %, to 908.80, and Nasdaq 100 index futures fell 9.00, or 0.6 %, to 1,455.00.

Currencies and Commodities

Crude fell on the negative outlook, with a barrel of light, sweet crude on the NYMEX for July delivery falling $1.25, or 1.80% at $68.30. Fears of a deeper global recession dropped inflation expectations and raised demand for the greenback, sending the dollar higher against other major currencies. The drop in inflation pressure, coupled with the stronger dollar sent gold to a one month low. The precious metal fell $10.40, or 1.11% to $925.80 an ounce.

Pretty boring last week and we were at right below 200MA on last Friday. I think we going to see big break out(up) this week, we need to break out 8600 first tomorrow or on Tuesday. If we don't see a break out, we could possibly drop down to 8372 which is 50MA BUT we defenitely gonna pop from that level, so don't panic sell on the dips.

NXXI - looking for .35 - .40 next week
ONT - nice break out on last trading hour on Friday. $0.65++++ target. Nice triangular fomation on chart look at the below.

Dow up 50 points for the day but choppy. As I posted yesterday, we needed see green today for better direction. Still, traders seeking where to move. Tomorrow could go either way, we could see another session similar to today or we could see up higher for the next bull market starts. I think we going to have very nice week even though Dow close red tomorrow.

Sold ACLS / ANDS this morning, it was just my trading not because these stocks are bad directions. I just have too many positions, needed some more cash for the future. (avg down & etc)

in at .20 this morning and out at .25s with $2890 profit in less than an hour.
Nice profit in this choppy market.

Two new picks for today.
COIN - This was one of the best pump and dump stock, easy to make money if you get in right time. News out this morning / Converted Organics Announces Sale of over 100,000 Gallons of Organic Liquid Fertilizer. This is low float and volatile, looking for few days run to $2 target.

YRCW - I don't have much infomations about this company, who cares?
This is one of my chat member's pick today. In some at $2.10 (little bit late), $2.50-$3 target on this one. Nice find Onepiece 님.

Made solid $1860 profit with STSI, I think this will be trading at $2s if appeal news out.

Another jitter day for the Dow today, no major news to move market. Still, investors are looking for directions at this point. I think tomorrow will be big, market need to break out higher if not we gonna see more downside. Today's market was an indecision and fragile, unpredictable. All I can do is wait to see what happens tomorrow.

CNLG - In some CNLG they have a new product ready to launch and is cheap, under book value here. This was trading at $2s when they were announced. This stock is for trading only, not for long term hold. Good Luck!

All the major stock indexes fell more than 1 percent, and the Dow lost about 100 points. Well, market needs time to breathing. Market was overbought recently and market can't go straight up everytime, need turn back for the next move. One thing important you need to concern today is that we broke down below EMA(20) which is not good sign. It is first significantly below 20 day Expotential Moving Average(EMA) 8593. I think market will test 8332 points next which is 50 Moving Average (MA), so be careful and stay out of market if you can't handle it.

Ok, here is two stocks I got it today.

DSCO - up huge yesterday and I picked up some sharea on pull back today. This is bouncing off around at $1.10 everytime, will see more bounce from this level.

STSI - call me crazy on this one. I picked up some after hour at $0.75 for fun(?).
News out after hour - Star Scientific loses Reynolds US patent dispute. I know this is bad news but they will appeal soon, maybe tomorrow morning and this will be trading over $1.
$1+ target for tomorrow!

Well, like I had predicted last week, market down big today but still ended pretty strong end of day. I thnk we gonna see green markets tomorrow first in the morning. And I didn't buy or sell any shares today. Stay out of unpreditable market.

Stock of the day - MPG
Maguire Properties (MPG) and its joint venture partner, Macquarie Office, announce that, in anticipation of a possible payment default, they have entered into negotiations with the special servicer under the CMBS financing covering the Quintana Campus in Irvine, California.

UP 50% close at 1.60, what a run in single day :)
My target was $1.70 and think it will hit tomorrow morning. Let's see!

Ok, I will make today's review short since today is Friday and yes, I need rest :)
Once again, stock market ends flat for five straight days, AMAZING. We really need to prepare for big move(up or down), keep your cash as much as possible for the next move. I think we could face big break out sometime next week.

I added one more stock today, CRXX

CRXX says knee osteoarthritis drug safe and effectiev in Phase 2 study, I don't understand today's pull back with this news. "Big Boys" pulled down for cheap entry?
I think $0.90s is cheap zone to load some more if you didn't get in yet. Good Luck!

Stocks Advance Despite Late-Day Sales

Indexes squeezed out a second gain for the week after retail sales, jobless claims and a well-received Treasuries auction outflanked worries over rising bond and mortgage rates.

May retail sales rose 0.5% over April, the Commerce Department reported, meeting expectations. But gains were skewed by rising gasoline prices. Excluding fuel, retail sales added only 0.2%.

Retail groups suffered six of the day's 10 deepest losses among the 197 industries tracked by IBD.

The number of workers filing new claims for jobless benefits also slumped unexpectedly last week, extending the recent declines in job losses.

Those numbers triggered an early rally. The market mounted a second surge after bond buyers scooped up yields of more than 4% in the Treasury's $11 billion auction of 30-year bonds.

By the end of the day, the NYSE had pulled off a 1.1% advance. Rising oil and natural gas prices drove its energy index to a 1.6% gain. Chevron (CVX) was among the Dow's biggest high-volume advancers.

The Nasdaq composite held out for a 0.5% gain, after marking a 1.5% high in early afternoon trading. Telecommunications was among its stronger sectors.

Flextronics (FLEX) and Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) led the Nasdaq 100's big-volume movers throughout the day.

The S&P 500 survived a late-day sell-off to end 0.6% higher. The Dow brought up the rear, adding 0.4%. Among the Dow's gainers, Alcoa (AA) moved in the highest volume, thanks to higher aluminum prices.

Volume ended slightly higher on both exchanges.

The session's intraday high knocked off the May 5 and May 20 distribution days logged by the Dow and the S&P 500.

That leaves the Dow, S&P 500 and the Nasdaq with one distribution day apiece.

Steel-related plays got a boost from Keybanc Capital, which upgraded U.S. Steel (X) and Olympic Steel (ZEUS) on an improving market for flat-rolled products.

U.S. Steel added 4%. Olympic jumped 5%, raising its gains so far this week to 29%.

Upgrades from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and Goldman Sachs helped boost banks, which led the S&P 500 all day. Bank of America (BAC) was the Dow's biggest price percentage gainer.

M&F Worldwide (MFW), a provider of checks and other products to banks and their customers, powered ahead 3.97 to 22.20 in nearly four times its average trade.

Southwestern Energy (SWN) popped 2.84 to 45.19 in powerful trade. That pushed the oil and gas producer to within 14% of its 52-week high.

Neutral Tandem (TNDM), which provides switching services between different wireless carriers, dived 10% in heavy trade.

Chinese mass-market jeweler Fuqi International (FUQI) fell 7% in very heavy trading. But it has been on a torrid streak for a month.

Genting, MGM in partnership talks

KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Reuters) - Malaysian gaming group Genting (GENT.KL) is in partnership talks with U.S. casino operator MGM Mirage (MGM.N), the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

"We're just starting to brainstorm about global marketing relationships, strategic ventures and partnerships," MGM Mirage chief executive Jim Murren was quoted by the paper as saying.

Genting recently paid $100 million for a 3.2 percent stake in MGM Mirage amd also bought $100 million of MGM debt. Genting did not have any immediate comment on the Wall Street Journal report.

The investments sparked market speculation that this could pave the way for Genting to participate in MGM's Macau hotel venture.

Genting has long expressed its interest in gaining a foothold in the Chinese gambling enclave.

Speculation was also building that MGM Mirage (MGM.N), under pressure from U.S. gambling regulators and saddled with with about $14 billion in debt, may sell its stake in its Macau joint venture--MGM Grand Macau.

MGM was told last month by gambling regulators in New Jersey that Pansy Ho, the daughter of Macau gambling baron Stanley Ho, was not a suitable partner for its venture in Macau, and ordered the U.S. firm to "disengage" itself from any business dealings with the younger Ho.

But Murren said the two companies have not discussed the possibility of Genting investing in its Macau venture.

The firm will "explore all our options in Macau in light of the" New Jersey gambling report, Murren was quoted by the newspaper as saying.

It will be interesting day for MGM tomorrow, hope this is good news :)

The fifth straight day of almost no move in the major indices with low volume. Tomorrow will be a intereting day, preparing for big move in either directions. SQNM - bought this morning dip at $4.55 and sold at $4.95 for 8.79% $880 profit, example of scalping trade. People always take profits after big runs, you need little more skills and fast determination for scalping trade. Quick $880 in 10 mins.

VRNM - chart break out in my radar this morning, got in at $1.76 for $1.81 break out and broke $1.81 easily and flying to .95(hod). sold at $1.90 for another quick and easy 18.68% $1846 profit.

Another sideways for the stock market today, low volume. I can say that last three days of market was weird. Big and important news were out every day but we just haven't moved anywhere. I really can't figure out the market these days, doesn't mean that I can't pick a BOOM stock like GNVC anymore. Don't worry! :)

My stock of the day SHZ
I picked up SHZ at .69 and you know what happens right? booming to $2.43(hod) in 30mins. Made quick $10K.

and I bought some DAN @1.37 on LEA momo. Broken 1.40 support level, closed at $1.52.
Nice chart break out, will be another winner tomorrow.

GNVC - closed real strong, end of day squeeze, up 17%, don't chase this at $2.00, continued run in AH, gapper tomorrow, more shorts than SQNM, will squeeze harder.

SQNM - I'm not holding this anymore but another example of patience WINNER.

Stocks reversed steep losses in the final hour of trading Monday to end little changed. The Dow Jones Industrial average recovered from a 130-point slide to end up a little more than a point. Wow Did you guys see that last hour running?
Another sideways for the market with low volumes. Oil and commodities fell as the dollar strengthened.

I sold GFG this morning with slight gains,sold too early at .31, hit .40 today high.
Also bought some ANX this morning and ouch, bad news out right after I got in. sold for $1800 loss.

Ok, here is my two main trade today.

AFT - got in at .30 this morning and bOOmed closed at .40 high of day, I was watching this for few weeks already, on my radar on last Friday with unusual volume and again this morning. Today was largest volume in history for this stock, will be a gapper tomorrow for sure.

GNVC - sold half of my shares at 1.09 with $2550 gain and got back in at .87 end of the day. Another massive volume today, news will be out soon, hopefully :)

Broke .82 on Friday, I think next stop is at $1.00 or could go between .70~.75 support area.
This is 5x, 10x bagger potential or .30~.40 with bad news. Another great R/R bio penny stock could double or trible your money quick.

According to the most recent press release from GenVec, the PACT trial will have a next interim look at the data after 92 events, and 184 events. The FDA could stop the trial if significant efficacy presents itself. At a first look at the data in late 2006, the TNFerade group showed an absolute response rate of 70% vs 28% SOC group. If the response rate holds at the next look in late 2008, there is no valid reason for the FDA to continue the PACT trial. It should conclude immediately and seek to approve TNFerade.

China's growth to exceed everyone's expectation

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Financier George Soros said on Sunday that China's global influence is set to grow faster than most people expect, with its isolation from the global financial system and a heavy state role in banking aiding a relatively swift economic recovery.

He reiterated his cautious views regarding the surge in global stock markets, although he said it may have further to go given liquidity in the markets and that many investors are still sitting on the sidelines.

"In many ways, Chinese banking has benefited from being isolated from the rest of the world and is in better shape than the international banking system," he told an audience at Shanghai's Fudan University.

China's extensive capital controls have helped to shield its financial institutions from the worst of the global financial crisis.

"The influence of the state is also greater. So when the government says 'lend', banks lend," Soros added. "This puts China in a better position to recover from the recession and that is in fact what has happened."

New loans by Chinese banks surged to record levels in the first quarter, spurring optimism over recovery prospects for the world's third-largest economy.

Even oil prices briefly surpassed $70 a barrel, I sold all my oil plays without FTK, too some profits for reorganized my portfolio.

Like I predicted yesterday, Stocks end flat as unemployment rate checks gains.
Stocks have rallied sharply over the past three months and I still believe stock market should keep rising. Market holding and closed above 8700 mark today.
Two things that I worrying about is commodity and oil prices, which can lead to inflation.

Ok, STOCK OF THE DAY - ACLS
I've been holding this for about a month now, first got in @ .51 and drop to .37, actually I DID average down at .43, holding 40k avg at .47. I mentioned yesterday about breakout points at .50, it broke today afternoon and flys to .66 and closed at .58. Another Patience WINNER.

and here is today's picks
GFG - dangerous play, high risk/ high return. Every index fund sold GFG yesterday on the S&P deletion. Yes, it is bad news but I think it won't take much time to back up. BK risk, even it goes BK, value still at around $0.10-15 or goes to $1 with capital infusion news. Don't follow this one if you can't afford.

GNVC - I think additional phase 3 results to come out soon, phase 3 data pancreatic cancer increase survival rate by 70%, fast track FDA drug approval process, final phase 3 result should be out soon. It can be another DNDN or follow AGEN.

I didn't buy or sell any shares today.

ADNS news were out today, Anadys to cut 40 pct jobs, suspend drug development. I think this is not bad news at all. Their problem was equity infusion and that part is out of way, their testing should be on schedule. Need more patience on this one will add more under $1.80 area.

All my oil stocks were doing great, and ACLS volumes surged once again today, will be interesting day tomorrow.

VG/NWD still behind, need MUCHO patience :(

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 74.96, or 0.9 percent, to 8,750.24. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 10.70, or 1.2 percent, to 942.46, and the Nasdaq composite rose 24.10, or 1.3 percent, to 1,850.02.

Today was another big rally day for bio stocks, I saw GREEN 30%-80% everywhere.
People forget about oil stocks because of it. Crude Oil reached almost $70 a barrel today but too many lagging oil stocks out there in my sight. People always chase it when up too much already.

Buy When Nobody Wants To Buy & Sell When Everybody Wants to Buy.

People asking why I mostly play penny stocks. Here is why.

Penny stocks are shares that trade from a fraction of a penny to $5.
The upside of penny stocks is the ability to turn a small investment into a fortune.
The downside is the risk, volatility of the shares, and the lack of corporate transparency.

For example, if we traded one of your garden variety fortune 500 stocks, how much return potential can you expect to see? Not a whole lot. These are the kind of stocks that people like to make a steady 10-15% return on a yearly basis. This is nothing to sneeze at. But I wouldn't expect to get rich from it.

Lets say you had $4,000 and you invest in a $40 a stock this means you have 100 shares. With that 10% increase that would mean that the stock price at the end of the year is $44. Not bad, but not exactly earth-shattering.

With this same example, lets say you invested that $4000 in a penny stock that was worth 50 cents a share. You'll end up 8000 shares.

Now with penny stocks, the growth potential is really infinite because it really doesn't take that much to move the price. Some have gone up as much as 500% in a single day. Let's just say from the previous example that the penny stock went up 400%(AGEN), that would mean the price when from 60 cents to 3 dollasr a share. You can really start to see how such small movements can provide big profits.

Stock market today was just an exptected day after four day rallys. Down fell 66 points, S&P fell 1.4% and NASDAQ only fell 0.6% on worse-than-expected data on factory orders, services. Most important thing today was that Dow holding well above 8600 mark and closed really strong end of the day. I think we move higher tomorrow. However, this week we going to face more tests as retailers report May sales results Thursday and as the Labor Department releases jobs data Friday. The monthly jobs report is one of the most closely watched indicators of the economy's health.

Dow Jones chart does support above 8600 mark today, but if market breaks down that points we will move back down to 8200. Look at the chat below

Let's talk about today's trading here. I sold BEE today for $3700 gain. I think it will move higher tomorrow but locked my nice profits here.

Today was a just consolidation day from yesterday's big rally. Most of indices broken previous resistance but not really much. We shall see what happens tomorrow with this move, possibly back to 8600 mark again or go up higher, never know. Either way, we going to see more uptrend for next few months. I think we can see 9,000-10,000 mark sooner than I thought. Oil settles above $68,which is good for my oil plays^^, and dollar continues dropped.

I sold SMCG today, not greedy, gained 26% from my first entry :)
and picked up some FTK with this money.

FTK - another oil related stock, Oil driller. With current oil price, this thing is dirt cheap here, back in Jan 2009 when oil was at low 50s, it was trading around $4.50, and now $2.50???? Can you believe this? I think it is lagging big time here and will noticed soon with oil momo.

I had meeting this morning and I missed today's big rally. Yes, market rallied higher above 8600 mark first time today. The major indices were up 2% at least. Like I told you here before that 8600 is the breaking point, I'm seeing new bull market just started. Even though, market is so strong uptrend, be little cautious for some pull back since we up almost 500 points last 3 days. Just too much for 3 days.

Ok, let's talk about stocks now. I was big surprised when I got home from long meeting today.
Especially my oil plays, EXXI / MXC / BQI / DPTR all up nicely today.

MXC - still lagging here, will touch $20 soon, was $50~60 last year, low float, need some more volumes.

EXXI - another laggin penny oil stock, oil chart does look fantastic and should explode with oil momo

BQI - broke $1 recently but not moving much, will see

DPTR - what can I say? want some more? everything look good, volumn increased by 6 mil today, I think it just started, can see $3 soon

VG/NWD another disappointed movement in this big rally. Need good news now !

SMCG - up more than 50% on Friday and down 3% today, not bad, isn't it? will decide to sell or not depends on tomorrow's movements. Target is $2~3

ACLS - not active enough, low volumns, need more patience.

Last three days of this week have been quite strange. Today, Dow closed pretty strong on government dept auction. One important thing today is oil price, it reached almost $65 mark.
We might see $70 barrel sooner than I think, let's keep watching oil stocks. One of my oil stock DPTR was doing great all day long and closed strong end of day, think that we can touch $2 tomorrow and $3 possible with oil prices.

And let's talk about other stocks, I sold SQNM for slight gain before ASCO, took some profit in this unpreditable market. I'm still holding AGEN for ASCO tomorrow.
I didn't get any position today, still have too many positions.

Today was pretty ugly day for the Dow. We lost almost everthing from yesterday's gain.
I didn't expect this much pull back. I thought its going be little bit of sell off in the morning and side way for few days, totally wrong. GM bankruptcy news was the big issue today, and I really can't predict tomorrow's stock market at this point. Still think market is uptrend though.

Ok let's talk about my stocks, I have 11 open positions which is not normal for me, usually trade 3-5 stocks at one time. I think I changed my trade style since I made this blog.
Actually, I bought 1 more today

DPTR - cheap, undervalued oil stock with CEO change news this morning, with today's oil momentum and new CEO, believe this is good sign for the company..

and here is watch for tomorrow

SOMX - watch this @ .60 this morning and pop so quick to .70 in second and waited for pull back but never happen. It closed at .91 today up 71%, what a monster move! This stock was $2.30s back in Feb. I heard company will resubmit the drug for approval in the coming days.
Let see this can move continue tomorrow or not.

Today Dow up 196 points and major stock indicator jumped more than 2% after a research group said consumer sentiment rose in May to the highest level since September. This jumped tells me that it could show similar quick reaction with bad news, I'm still cautious with confidence.

VG up 21% with good volumn.
MPG up 11%
ACLS up 9% with good volumn last hour, another patience play like VG
BQI up 7.5% closed @1.01. This is good sign that above $1

I bought 2 more stocks today.

SQNM - I think bottom is in and this is not a day trade stock. We need little more patience, presentation in ASCO this week.

SMCG - I'm looking for $2 this week. India momo play, chart looks good, bidder was showing up last trading hour. It should gap up tomorrow.

Oil extends gains, rises on weak U.S. dollar

PERTH (Reuters) - Oil prices extended the previous session's gains and rose toward $62 a barrel on Monday, hovering near a six-month high, thanks to a weak dollar and on short-covering amid the U.S. Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Expectations the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) would keep its official production targets unchanged during its meeting on Thursday also supported prices.

U.S. crude futures for July delivery rose 28 cents to $61.95 a barrel by 2349 GMT. The contract settled up 62 cents at $61.67 a barrel on Friday, boosted by data showing a big increase in Chinese demand, along with a weak dollar.

London Brent crude rose 38 cents to $61.16.

"The big factor driving up oil prices over the past week is the sharp decline in the U.S. dollar. If the dollar continues its downtrend, that should be a very supportive factor for oil," said Toby Hassall, head of research at Commodities Warrants Australia.

"As for OPEC, there is a very broad consensus that it will keep its quota unchanged."

Despite reassurances from Moody's that said on Friday it was comfortable with the triple-A sovereign rating on the United States, investors continued to sell the greenback and pushed the dollar lower on Monday.

Persistent selling of the U.S. dollar has pushed it to its lowest level this year. The dollar index .DXY was down 0.15 percent early Monday, after suffering its biggest weekly drop in two months last week.

Oil prices rallied around $4, or 9.5 percent last week, boosted by a spate of U.S. refinery problems and unrest in major oil exporter Nigeria, and are nearly double their lows hit in December on hopes the economic recession is easing.

Saudi Arabian Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi said OPEC would "probably stay the course" when it meets this week as he forecast a pick up in demand and prices eventually rising toward $75 a barrel.

Algeria's oil minister said OPEC was unlikely to cut output at its meeting next week amid a weak global economy, warning compliance with previous supply cuts had slipped in April and needed to be tightened first.

Separately, China wants to set up a 3 million tons reserve of oil products this year, which is practically impossible, a researcher at a think-tank run by the country's top oil refiner Sinopec Group, was quoted as saying on Sunday.

Crude oil speculators on the New York Mercantile Exchange steeply increased net long positions in the week to May 19, according to data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission released on Friday.

Today's market was another rough day, Dow losing almost 130 points. In fact, we bounced nicely last 20-30mins of trade. I still believe that market has some strength here. In this market, I'm gonna be a quick trader, either way (buy/sell). Personally, I like market's situation right now though, I can find better undervalued and potential stocks easier than bull market times.

I bought 10k MNI @ .73 and sold @ .83 for $1000 gain (easy money)
and also bought ASTM @ .38 with MNI money :)
and just before market closed, I picked up some OPEN 200@ 32.50

ASTM
in GERN stemcell momo, GERN up 50% last few days and ASTM should follow this quickly.
Closed @.42 today and will move higher tomorrow.

OPEN
New IPO stock today up more than 50% today.
This might played by hedges and only 3mil floats. It's gonna be a dangerous gamble type play, so stay out of it if you can't control. It will defenitely suprise people either way up huge or down hard tomorrow.

GM - I really can't believe this movements last few days. I usually don't short, but I will try this one tomorrow.

MRM - This impressed me, making new high every day, still watching on this.

Market didn't bounce right back from yesterday. I still think it's coming. We need little more patience in this market. Also we had a great opportunity to get in last 30 mins of pull back. I don't think it's sign of bear maket, I still believe market will move higher.

I bought 5k shares ATRC at 2.55
- I played this one few days ago and made about 100% gain^^
Like I mentioned it before, it was $12s stock few months ago and fundamentals are much better now than when it was at $12s. I believe this will move next few days or weeks.

Tommorow's Watch

AFT- I watched it today afternoon around .24 ~ .25 but missed and closed strong @ .26.
This very CHEAP and way undervalued wireless play with sector on fire recently. I can say that it will move up 50% easily from this point.

$8,000 fast cash for first-time homebuyers

HUD plans to tweak $8,000 tax credit rules so first-time homebuyers can get instant down-payment assistance.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Home prices are cheap. Affordability is at a record high. And the market is littered with distressed properties looking for a buyer.

But there is one big obstacle for many first-time house hunters looking to take advantage of the market: cash for down payments. The typical first-time buyer has only saved enough to cover 4% of the purchase price, according to the National Association of Realtors.

As part of the stimulus package, Congress created a refundable first-time homebuyers tax credit in hopes of helping on-the-fence buyers to take the home-purchase plunge. But buyers couldn't collect the $8,000 credit until tax time, rather than at closing time - when it's needed.

Now the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is planning to change that. The agency is working on a plan that will allow Federal Housing Authority-approved lenders to provide buyers with the tax credit cash up front.

"We all want to enable FHA consumers to access the tax credit funds when they close on their home loans so that the cash can be used as a down payment," said Shaun Donovan, HUD secretary, in a speech last Tuesday before the National Association of Realtors.

Today's market was side way until last hour litte sell off, but market will move higher tomorrow and testing 8600 points I think. If we get there, market will go up more for few more days or weeks(?). Let's see what's gonna happen tomorrow.

Crude oil up , chart look fantastic and will lift up more .

I expected more bear markets today but it was strong and it really suprised me. but today's volumn was not quite impressive. I think we still in trading range, not another bull rally.
We gotta see 8600 mark first to start another bull market. I hope tomorrow is the day!
